KEVIN THOMSEN

Kevin Thomsen grew up in Marquette, MI graduating from MSHS in 1998. Kevin’s love for athletics and helping others was established working at his family’s iconic sport shop, Johnson’s. Kevin graduated with his Bachelors from NMU in 2004. In 2015 he decided to branch out and open Queen City Running Company. So what is his happy pace? Running of course, you can constantly find Kevin running the trails and bike path around Marquette. He has to stay on his game to keep up with his blessings, daughters Anna and Aili, sons Charlie and Teddy, and his dachshund Coco Puff.

Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Paige attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth where she achieved All-American status in Track and Field before transferring to NMU in the fall of 2018. She competed for both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams throughout her college career, having specialities in the 400, 600 and 800 meters. Paige etched her name into both UMD and NMU’s record books in 5 different events. She graduated from NMU in May of 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Minors in Pre-Law, Physical-Education and Coaching. Following her “retirement” from collegiate running, she found a new love for road racing, as well as pacing races around the country, and ultramarathons. She enjoys hiking, spending time with her cats Nova, Luna, Kota and Tino, and reading with a good cup of coffee in hand.
