Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the annual Queen City Trick or Trot which is a family friendly, fun and festive event featuring a 10K run, 5K run/walk, and Kids Monster Mile!

We are super excited to have multiple local businesses working with us in collaboration for this event to bring you an amazing Halloween race experience! All participants will receive a commemorative medal, a giveaway from Donckers, and a giveaway from Provisions MQT. MQT Nutrition will also be contributing to the awards! 

Races:

Kids Monster Mile

The Kids Monster Mile begins at 11:00am EST on the bike path (In front of the Thill's Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock), and heads north on the bike path, with the turn around being just after the entrance to Mattson Lower Harbor Park. 

 Kids 1 Mile Route:

Trick or Trot 5K:  

The 5K Run/Walk begins on Spring Street at 10:00am, right in front of Ore Dock Brewing Company. The runners will run straight down to Lakeshore BLVD onto the bike path and head south towards Harvey. The 5K turnaround will be indicated with signage, and will be located just before the Carp River. The finish line for the 5K will be on the bike path that runs parallel with lakeshore blvd. 

5k Route:

 

Trick or Trot 10K:

The 10K run begins at 10:00am on Spring Street, right in front of Ore Dock Brewing Company. The runners will run straight down to Lakeshore BLVD onto the bike path and head south towards Harvey. The 10K turnaround will be located just before the Welcome Center. The turnaround for the 10K will also have an aid station for any hydration needs! The finish line for the 10K will be on the bike path that runs parallel with lakeshore blvd.

Awards Ceremony: 

The post race party will be at Ore Dock Brewing Company from 11:00am-1pm. The awards ceremony will take place at 12pm. Post race refreshments will be provided.

The overall Male and Female Winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a FREE pair of shoes from QCRC, there will also be age groups awards for both events!

Age Group awards will be as Follows: 

Kids Monster Mile:  12 and Under (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place)

10K: Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) 

5K: Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) 

Halloween is everyone's excuse to dress up! Be sure to get your most creative Halloween costume out for a chance to win a prize in our famous costume contest! The costume contest will be judged in two ways:

1: Individuals (1st place $50 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 2nd and 3rd place $25 Gift Certificates to QCRC) 

2: Pairs/Family: (1st place $50 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 2nd and 3rd place $25 Gift Certificates to QCRC)
